What does balance in life mean to you?

Having time for my family, especially my children. Swimming in open skies, skiing, experiencing art and culture, being with friends, eating, laughing - all while having a rich and exciting job.

What's the best advice you can give to other women?

What are you particularly concerned with right now?

I could easily mention war, political unrest, and the climate, but I've just come back from Fashion Week in Paris and feel incredibly inspired by all the beautiful shows I saw there. The designs on the catwalk now are for a strong and confident woman.

Especially Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Dior, Loewe, and Hermès stood out. In addition, we're in the midst of making our spring issues here at Costume, and I can feel the sun through the window. It feels so good after a long winter. I love my job and feel so lucky that I get to work with Costume both in Copenhagen and Oslo.

What have been the biggest challenges and successes in your professional life?

My first goal was to become a journalist. I set that goal when I was 12 years old. For me, it's usually the journey towards the goal that brings the most joy. I like the feeling of being on my way somewhere. So, I've continued with that mindset. I've worked in the newspaper industry, for ELLE, for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and now for Costume.

Setting goals is what drives me; creating results that we as a team can be proud of. For example, we're about to organize the Costume Awards in Copenhagen for the first time, and I can feel that filling me with energy.
